Who are we?
We created Halimeda's Oasis to bring quality items to the students of In Step Studio.  It expanded beyond the studio to the current high quality collection of dance wear, dance accessories and elegant costumes. Besides costuming we also stock select instruments such as finger cymbals, Middle Eastern hand drums  (tabla or doumbeks), tambourines (riqs) and frame drums (tars,and bendirs).

We can create a virtual show here in our studio, travel to you or  we can set up a special shopping day here in Tallahassee. Halimeda's Oasis loves to attend workshops throughout the Southeast U.S.  And we do "trunk shows" at studios or homes in the north Florida and South Georgia area!  We'll bring lots of fun costuming for dancers and drums for musicians. 

Most of our items are hand made in the U.S.A. and are dependent upon the availability of fabric. We do our best to keep items in stock and to keep fabric on hand. We've listed what we either have on hand or colors we can usually get. Sometimes the availability of the fabric and trim changes; these changes are beyond our capability to control.  Colors can vary slightly from one bolt of fabric (dye lot) to another so if you want to have exact matches for skirts, tops, pants, or veils, please order all at once.

Orders:

It takes time to create quality custom work.  If we don't have your request in stock, we'll create if for you. If you have a special deadline, please let us know when you order. We can do rush orders but they may cost more.

There is no minimum order.  All custom work requires  50% down before start of work. We will keep you up to date on the progress of large projects. The order must be completely paid for before we ship.  We will hold a completed, custom order for 30 days after we notify you that it is finished. If not paid in full OR other arrangements made, the items go into stock and the deposit is retained by Halimeda's Oasis.
